Open STEAM workshops

The Open STEAM teaching innovation workshops help teachers to update their knowledge so that they can introduce the scientific method to primary and secondary school classrooms. With a hands-on approach, these activities help teachers to learn scientific experiments that are suitable for pupils of all ages.

An average of 40 teachers take part in our workshops.

They cover various subjects: magic math games for teaching mathematics; the educational possibilities of remote and virtual laboratories; and the use of ICT tools in the science classroom.

Other topics include smartphone apps for understanding physical phenomena and the introduction of low-cost experiments and instruments for studying physics in the classroom.
